This is a work dedicated to the teaching of History, to the peripheral trajectories and to the counter-hegemonic memories of individuals belonging to social groups historically marginalized and made invisible such as, black people, women, the LGBTQ+ community and indigenous people. Utilizing tools such as memory, oral history, biography, decolonial thinking and the studies about urban peripheries to think about the teaching of History, this project elaborated a podcast that heard the narrative of seven individuals belonging to the social groups mentioned. In the way, we believe that reader and/or listener of the podcast will be able to reflect about the trajectories of peripheral lives and the counter-hegemonic thoughts evoked by the dialogue established throughout the interviews present in this text. Contributing to place the margins at the center is the main objective of this project, valuing the peripheries and the thoughts that echo from there, in all its power and meaning, showing that these individuals not only resist, but reexist and resignify existences and spaces, taking to schools theirs stories, a different history, that oppose the modern/colonial euro centered history. At last, we seek to contribute to the reflection about a study of history that deals with the dimension of protagonists these groups and individuals that for centuries were made invisible and marginalized by society and history. In this way, this dissertation is an invitation to the reflection about the power of a History teaching with protagonism of the popular peripheral classes and the counter-hegemonic progressist thinking, so that we can increasingly lead the margins to the center of the politic-pedagogical debate.
