Resumo: Proposal for a reading of some excerpts from Florbela Espanca's poetry and some philosophical fragments of Simone de Beauvoir thought, mainly cointained in her magnum opus The Second Sex through a contrastive analysis of the intellectual trajectory of both writers, concerning the male domination and the female resistance through the written process. This paper proposes an incisive analysis of the work of the authors cited, making a correlation between life and work of both, until the issue of male domination. Its main goal is to draw attention to key points that the authors stressed in his works and which served as a powerful force for the breakdown of patriarchal bonds. Here stands up and confronts the male gaze, which the company was so used (especially considering the fact that all literature was composed by men), with works by women within a strictly male world, gave their cry for freedom through his writings. Therefore, the paper presented here aims to demonstrate a social and literary innovation, which Simone de Beauvoir and Florbela Espanca brought, at the time decided to no longer be just like women, but as writers, aware and responsible for their decisions and what they wrote

Here stands up and confronts the male gaze, which the company was so used (especially considering the fact that all literature was composed by men), with works by women within a strictly male world, gave their cry for freedom through his writings. Therefore, the paper presented here aims to demonstrate a social and literary innovation, which Simone de Beauvoir and Florbela Espanca brought, at the time decided to no longer be just like women, but as writers, aware and responsible for their decisions and what they wroteProposta de leitura de fragmentos de versos integrantes da poética de Florbela Espanca e de textos da filosofia de Simone de Beauvoir, notadamente contidos na sua obra magna O Segundo Sexo, numa análise contrastiva do percurso intelectual de ambas as escritoras, no que diz respeito à dominação masculina e à resistência das mulheres por intermédio do exercício escritural. Made available in DSpace on 2021-01-05T15:04:56Z (GMT).
