This research has as object of study the vulnerabilities experienced by young university students, in their intimate affective relationships. As a motivation, the study sought to answer the following guiding questions: how are the sexual behaviors of young university students in a nursing course processed in their intimate affective relationships? How are intimate affective relationships of young university students in a nursing course configured? General objective: to analyze the vulnerabilities in the intimate affective relationships of young university students in the nursing course Specific objectives: to describe the sexual behaviors of young university students in the field of nursing in their intimate affective relationships; to analyze the characteristics and influencing aspects of the intimate affective relationships of young university students in the nursing course. Methodology: Qualitative study carried out with young university students in the undergraduate nursing course at a public university in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The study participants were 13 young academics from the nursing course of the 7th period, this choice is justified by understanding that these young women would have a greater university experience and that they could still diagnose their previous health condition. And, as exclusion criteria, having the enrollment locked; or on sick leave or maternity leave. For data collection, the semi-structured interview technique was used, which combines closed and open questions in which it is possible to discuss the topic. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, data collection was carried out online, using the Google forms platform. Data analysis was performed using the thematic content analysis technique that allowed the emergence of the category “Affective Relationships of Young University Nursing Students”, consisting of the subcategories: “Perceptions of Young People about Intimate Affective Relationships”, “Factors that Influence Relationships Intimate Affective ”,“ Characteristics of intimate affective relationships of young university students ”. Results: Most young women reported that their intimate affective relationships were pleasant and respectful, with respect between partners essential. They report the inappropriate use of the contraceptive method and the non-use of condoms in sexual relations with their partners. Conclusion: There is an urgent need to establish care proposals within the sexual health of young university students, in order to assist in promoting self-care for these young women, strengthened by educational actions on sexual health, sexual rights, sexuality and vulnerabilities.
