This study brings reflexions and contributions about nurse attendance in child sexual abuse suspicion, in view the gravity and seriousness of this issue in society and the possibilities of actions to be undertaken by nurse face the child and his family, considering health promotion, protection and prevention. So has as object of study the nurse's actions face child sexual abuse suspicion and the objective was to analyze nurse actions in child sexual abuse suspicion context. Based on a broad definition of violence and more specifically in the context of child sexual abuse and its many forms, discusses the ethical and legal issues that guide this type of care and identification of child sexual abuse suspicion by the nurse. Be characterized by a qualitative research based on sociological phenomenology of Alfred Schutz, which emphasizes social relations and define the action as human conduct with a purpose, namely, has an intent, the In Order- To motives of the action, that were captured by phenomenological interview. The questions that guided the interview were: When you attend a child with sexual abuse suspicion, what do you do?; What you have in mind with nurse actions triggered in this type of attendance? Why? The analysis of speech allowed the construction of four categories discussed in the light of phenomenology. Thus, it was possible to comprehend the typical one of the nurse who attends a child with sexual abuse suspicion, which is set to interact with other professionals for child care and at the same time establish a dialogue and an open allowing, possibiliting a care with a prospect from the other, seeking to attend the children and fulfilling the routines of the unit. From the comprehension and interpretation of nurses actions the understanding was that the possibilities in this type of attendance permeate the professional experience, acquired knowledge luggage lifetime, procedures and techniques learned in their professional training, the dedicated and sensitive care, the attention and criterions look, comprehensive listener, the appropriate guidelines for the child and his family and above all the love and respect to the next.
