The importance of the question of writing in the psychoanalytic investigation of paranoia is undoubted. There is a journey that begins with Freud reading Schreber and (not) ends with Jacques Lacan reading James Joyce. In both Schreber and Joyce we are witnessing as readers through writing, in memories and in literature, what this tells us about the place of writing in a certain limitation of jouissance. And when this writing is addressed in analysis? The research on the analyst's place in the construction of a substitute does not intend to summarize the clinic to a case, but with him to think about the issue where it arises and extract consequences for the management of psychoses in the clinic. The objective of the present thesis is to locate the protagonism of the issue of reading a writing in the clinical research of psychosis, more specifically of paranoia, from the consideration of how the construction of nodes in Lacan's teaching serves the clinic in the treatment of psychosis. Schreber, A Mulher de Deus and Joyce, The Artist, appointments constructed by the delusional metaphor and by writing in the unanalyzable sinthome. These two resources to limit enjoyment dispensed with analysis but did not take place without addressing. What is the analyst's place in the treatment of jouissance in psychosis? It is necessary to consider that it is from the transference relationship that we access the place that the subject gives to the Other. If in neurosis the position of the analyst's semblance of object allows the subject access to knowledge, the path on paranoia allows pointing to a proximity between knowledge and jouissance; and the analyst's intervention in the handling of transference makes possible the emptying of the Other's jouissance that the patient attributes to him. Lacan invites you to read to see how language improves when it comes to playing with writing and accepting the challenge about the origin of the artist's know-how, which implicitly carries with it another of great importance, about which the act of the analyst presupposes savoir-faire.
