Entre a má-fé e a autenticidade na ontologia fenomenológica de Jean-Paul Sartre: esboços para uma clínica normativa?

The presente thesis has as main objetif to investigate, through Jean-Paul Sartre's phenomenological ontology, the articulation of the notions of bad faith and authenticity, present in the thought of this philosopher, in their implications for the appropriation of psychological clinic. With this, we intend to move from a determinative and normative perspective of understanding human existence. We try to show, first, how the referrals present in clinical psychology, hegemonically, show themselves as normative and prescriptive from previous positions taken as ideals about human subjectivity. In this way, guidelines such as normal / pathological, right / wrong, good / bad or even authentic / inauthentic take positions a priori and guide clinical directions. This problem unfolds in an attempt to investigate whether this normativity can also present itself in the clinical perspectives of phenomenological-existential basis, preeminently characterized by the attempt to move away from such referrals. Sartre's phenomenological ontology, developed mainly in The Being and Nothingness, presents itself as a foundation for clinical psychology that seeks to rescue an understanding of human existence beyond technical-scientific parameters and / or theoretical constructs, and to approach the concrete, sensitive and a-theoretical character. On the other hand, the combination of notions of bad faith and authenticity, as appropriate by clinical managements, can present itself as normative, if assumed as dichotomous from a position taken as an ideal to be achieved. Thus, we see on the one hand the fertile contribution of Sartre's thought to the construction of a clinic as a preservation of the sensitive character of existence, but on the other hand, the call for caution in not falling into the same normative position from which we seek to distance ourselves. To this end, we propose at the end of this study that the understanding of human existence, as taken by Sartre, as a temporal flow sustained by negativity, contributes to safeguard an articulation between bad faith and authenticity in its tension character, without falling into the pretension the prescriptive scope of the achievement of authenticity. The Sartrian-based psychological clinic can be characterized, therefore, by sustaining this tension character of existence, which, condemned to freedom, is constantly faced with the task of its existence.
