The research is dedicated to investigate the urban parties that are established on the opposite way of the daily life of the city. Festive street demonstrations analyzed in this research reveal disagreements regarding the given issue of social life. We understand that from contentious actions - that can take shape at street parties - we can locate urban tensions that are revealing of our time. Faced with a context of intense production of discourses of hatred and violence that advocate the emptying of gregarious and public spaces, we seek to investigate the festive occupations that exalt the right to the city and exalt the power of the meeting and the diverse socialities. The festivities, in this sense, are part of the urban communication game, being able to enunciate in a singular way certain desires, desires and expectations of the actors. We start from the premise that the party performs particular interfaces between the world of politics, culture, art and pleasure and therefore, is decisive place for the investigation of the city. What interests to us here is the subversive vocation of festivities, where they can summon us to reflect critically on reality. We investigated in this research three street parties located in the Center of Rio de Janeiro that have profiles of critical engagement. Through cartography, we map out creative practices that articulate moments of expression in dissensual ways of experiencing the city. Through tactics and shrewd dribbling of the order, festive actors raise questions about social life. We seek to reflect on the capacity of these moments of "gap" in developing diverse and pluralistic fruition over the urban and, consequently, to identify the survival of these actions in the daily life of the city. That is, we try to understand how the party is based on critical positions regarding the city and what are the possible marks left by this festive experience both in the body of the urban actor and in the body of the city
