O potencial comunicativo dos memes: formas de letramento na rede digital

Resumo: This study investigated how the meme can be considered a product of contemporary culture that connects content and knowledge from different fields, requiring multiple user literacies. So it was necessary to explain the importance of participatory culture, fan culture and Information and Communication Technologies in connection process and broadcast content. They presented the concepts of literacy (PICCOLI, 2010; TFOUNI, 1995; CERUTTI-RIZZATTI, 2012; KLEIMAN, 2005; Lemke, 2010; REGIS, AUDI, MAIA, 2014; RODRIGUES, 2015) intertextuality (KRISTEVA, 2005; ECO; 1989), remix culture (MANOVICH, 2005; FERGUSON 2011), in order to uncover the practices that are involved in the production, enjoyment and sharing memes. Finally, based on these theoretical arose the curiosity to investigate whether these ideas were part of the framework of the members of Meme Studies Facebook group. In order to ascertain whether there was agreement or disagreement on the practices developed by them and discussed in the text of this thesis, we applied an online questionnaire. With the analysis of the data collection can be seen that the group concept is in line with the ideas of what is meme. However, when it comes to literacy, there are differences

Por isso, foi necessário explicar a importância da cultura participativa, da cultura fã e das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação no processo de conexão e difusão de conteúdos. Apresentaram-se os conceitos de letramento (PICCOLI, 2010; TFOUNI, 1995; CERUTTI-RIZZATTI, 2012; KLEIMAN, 2005; LEMKE, 2010; REGIS; AUDI; MAIA, 2014; RODRIGUES, 2015) intertextualidade (KRISTEVA, 2005; ECO; 1989), cultura do remix (MANOVICH, 2005; FERGUSON 2011), com o intuito de desvendar as práticas envolvidas na produção, fruição e compartilhamento de memes. Por fim, com base nesses teóricos, surgiu a curiosidade de investigar se essas ideias faziam parte do referencial dos integrantes do grupo Meme Studies no Facebook. Com o propósito de averiguar se haveria concordância ou divergência nas práticas desenvolvidas por eles e as discutidas no texto desta dissertação, aplicou-se um questionário online.
