Resumo: Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection is common among sexually active women, and viral persistence can lead to intraepithelial lesions that may progress to cervical cancer (CC). In women in the State of Amazonas, CC ranks first among cancers resulting in 288 deaths in 2018 from this cancer. Self-sampling of cervical material followed by HPV detection tests may be an alternative for women in isolation who have little or no access to health services in an attempt to increase coverage and the screening efficiency. This study analyzed alternative technologies using Coari® (Kolplast) and SelfCervix® (Ziel Biosciences) self-sampling devices followed by molecular analyzes by two generic PGMY9 /11 standard PCR assays and Real Time PCR for HPV16 and HPV 18. A total of 218 women with grade 2 or more advanced cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (NIC2; NIC3 or CC) were studied, with results confirmed by histopathological examination, who present themselves to start treatment at the CECON Foundation. Both devices had a higher acceptance level than those countries considering patients in sick conditions. It was recommended to use cervical screening by 98.2%. of the patients they used. In all lesions including CCU the predominance was 35> 45 years and 62.4% were positive for HPV according to the available methodology. All devices were viable and validated because they were independent of the collection method and sociodemographic factors. The presence of human DNA demonstrates the ability of the device to capture vaginal cervical cells.

Submitted by ALYSSON SENA (alyssonsena@hotmail.com) on 2021-01-26T21:40:09Z No. of bitstreams: 2 DEFESA ALYSSON BASTOS SENA PPG.pdf: 2840337 bytes, checksum: cd5bac55e7021d46af2419e2e88f252a (MD5) CartaEncaminhamentoTCC-TESE-DISSERTAÇÃO-1.pdf: 104937 bytes, checksum: ab75f189be361af6a51995eab34ae46a (MD5)Rejected by PPGIBA Imunologia Básica e Aplicada (imunologia.ppgiba.ufam@gmail.com), reason: Falta anexar a ata de defesa. on 2021-01-26T22:05:54Z (GMT)Submitted by ALYSSON SENA (alyssonsena@hotmail.com) on 2021-01-27T00:50:33Z No. of bitstreams: 3 DEFESA ALYSSON BASTOS SENA PPG.pdf: 2840337 bytes, checksum: cd5bac55e7021d46af2419e2e88f252a (MD5) CartaEncaminhamentoTCC-TESE-DISSERTAÇÃO-1.pdf: 104937 bytes, checksum: ab75f189be361af6a51995eab34ae46a (MD5) ATA DE DEFESA.pdf: 80288 bytes, checksum: f291ec564360406ba0933c20f30aca82 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by PPGIBA Imunologia Básica e Aplicada (imunologia.ppgiba.ufam@gmail.com) on 2021-01-27T16:25:28Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 3 DEFESA ALYSSON BASTOS SENA PPG.pdf: 2840337 bytes, checksum: cd5bac55e7021d46af2419e2e88f252a (MD5) CartaEncaminhamentoTCC-TESE-DISSERTAÇÃO-1.pdf: 104937 bytes, checksum: ab75f189be361af6a51995eab34ae46a (MD5) ATA DE DEFESA.pdf: 80288 bytes, checksum: f291ec564360406ba0933c20f30aca82 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Divisão de Documentação/BC Biblioteca Central (ddbc@ufam.edu.br) on 2021-01-27T21:25:28Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 3 DEFESA ALYSSON BASTOS SENA PPG.pdf: 2840337 bytes, checksum: cd5bac55e7021d46af2419e2e88f252a (MD5) CartaEncaminhamentoTCC-TESE-DISSERTAÇÃO-1.pdf: 104937 bytes, checksum: ab75f189be361af6a51995eab34ae46a (MD5) ATA DE DEFESA.pdf: 80288 bytes, checksum: f291ec564360406ba0933c20f30aca82 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-01-27T21:25:28Z (GMT).
