Resumo: | Research carried out after the turn of the century, especially in the African andAsiancontinentsand in Latin American countries, evaluatedtheimpactofmicrocreditonwomen's empowerment, a phenomenonconsideredcomplexandinvolvingmultipledimensions. Thisworkcontributestothiscurrentofstudies in a more specificway, byinvestigatinghowblackandbrownfemale entrepreneurs who are clientsofCrediamigo, from Banco do Nordeste (BNB), thelargestmicrocreditprogram in LatinAmerica, are empowered. Fromthefemale empowerment construct, theresearchconsideredtheeconomic, domesticandpsychologicaldimensionsrecurrent in theliteraturerelatedtothetheme. The workischaracterized as a studyof a qualitativeanddescriptivenature, withthecollectionofprimary data, throughtheapplicationof a questionnaireandconductingsemi-structured interviews withseven entrepreneurs. ContentanalysiswassupportedbyAtlas.ti software. As a result, theresearchcapturedsubtledifferencesbetweenthe profiles ofthe entrepreneurs, observingsmallertraitsof empowerment amongwomen over 50 yearsold. Este trabalho contribui com essa corrente de estudos de modo mais específico, ao investigarcomo estão empoderadas as empreendedoras pretas e pardas clientes do Crediamigo, do Banco do Nordeste (BNB), maior programa de microcrédito da América Latina. Do construto empoderamento feminino, a pesquisa considerou as dimensões econômica, doméstica e psicológica recorrentes na literatura relacionada ao tema. O trabalho se caracteriza como estudo de natureza qualitativa e descritiva, contando com coleta de dados primários, por meio de aplicação de questionário e realização de entrevista semiestruturada a sete empreendedoras. A análise do conteúdo teve como suporte o software Atlas.ti. Como resultados, a pesquisa captou sutis diferenças entre os perfis das empreendedoras, observando menores traços de empoderamento entre as mulheres acima de 50 anos. Na dimensão econômica, a pesquisa revelou que as entrevistadas têm autonomia na gestão do negócio e controle sobre o planejamento financeiro, com espaço para melhoria em termos de visão administrativa de suas atividades. Na dimensão doméstica, em que pesem relatos de autonomia e confiança dentro do lar, parte do grupo demonstrou dificuldade em suplantar a cultura patriarcal estabelecida, reificando pensamentos machistas relativos à divisão de tarefas e sustento da casa. O estudo evidenciou que as empreendedoras demonstraram características como autoconfiança, autoestima e criatividade,relacionadas à dimensão psicológica do empoderamento. Em termos de percepção das empreendedoras relativa a empoderamento, verificou-se que o Crediamigo é reconhecido pelo apoio econômico de suas atividades bem como pelo conforto psicológico proporcionado em função da previsibilidade na renovação dos empréstimos. A falta de citações diretas ao Crediamigo associadas a empoderamento doméstico sugere a necessidade de iniciativas que colaborem com essa percepção. Sugestões para pesquisas futuras incluem analisar a relação entre inclusão digital e empoderamento feminino em outras dimensões além da econômica, bem como considerar aspectos culturais e religiosos das participantes.
