O comprometimento organizacional em empresas LEAN: um estudo na construção civil no Ceará

Resumo: | Across the world, the Lean, inspired by the Toyota Production System, has been suggesting changes in companies from many different sectors, not only in the production processes, but also in the management of these organizations, with multiple implications. This dissertation investigates the degree of adherence to the Lean model and the organizational commitment. The main objective is to study the three dimensions (affective, calculative and normative) of organizational commitment in companies in the civil construction sector in Ceará that have Lean implementation efforts in their management. It is characterized as a case study carried out by quantitative methods, which uses as a tool for data collection three questionnaires and sources of evidence provided by the companies studied. The Affective Organizational Compensation Scale (ECOA), the Normative Organizational Compensation Scale (ECON), and the Organizational Scale of Compensation (ECOC), by M.M.Siqueira (1995), constitute a set of scales developed to measure organizational commitment , Being national versions for the three bases ruled by Meyer and Allen. The questionnaires were applied in two companies from Ceará, assuming a different degree of adherence to the Lean model for each one. To identify the company with the highest degree of adherence to the model, the study has the indication of an institution with national credibility in Lean knowledge. The results represent how much the degree of adherence to the Lean interferes in the organizational commitment of the companies studied, making comparative analyzes in both. In this study, a hypothesis test was performed for two independent samples, companies A and B, and significant differences in the dimensions of the impairment were observed, observing the degree of adherence to the Lean model. There was a significant interference in the two aspects regarding the affective dimension of the organizational commitment, being more affective commitment in the company of greater degree of adherence to the Lean. For the calculative and normative dimensions, no significant impairment was observed. |

Esta dissertação investiga o grau de aderência ao modelo Lean e o comprometimento organizacional. O objetivo principal é estudar as três dimensões (afetiva, calculativa e normativa) do comprometimento organizacional em empresas do setor da construção civil cearense que possuem em sua gestão esforços de implementação Lean. Caracteriza-se como um estudo de caso realizado por métodos quantitativos, que utiliza como instrumento para a coleta de dados três questionários e fontes de evidências fornecidas pelas empresas estudadas. A Escala do Comprometimento Organizacional Afetivo (ECOA), a Escala do Comprometimento Organizacional Normativo (ECON) e a Escala do Comprometimento Organizacional Calculativo (ECOC), de autoria de M.M.Siqueira (1995), constituem um conjunto de escalas desenvolvidas para mensurar o comprometimento organizacional, sendo versões nacionais para as três bases pautadas por Meyer e Allen. Os questionários foram aplicados em duas empresas cearenses, pressupondo um grau diferenciado de aderência ao modelo Lean para cada uma. Para identificar a empresa com maior grau de aderência ao modelo, o estudo conta com a indicação de uma instituição com credibilidade nacional em conhecimentos Lean. Os resultados representam o quanto o grau de aderência ao Lean interfere no comprometimento organizacional das empresas estudadas, fazendo análises comparativas em ambas. Neste estudo foi realizado um teste de hipóteses para duas amostras independentes, as empresas A e B, sendo verificadas diferenças significativas das dimensões do comprometimento observando o grau de aderência delas ao modelo Lean. Constatou-se interferência significativa nas duas quanto a dimensão afetiva do comprometimento organizacional, sendo maior o comprometimento afetivo na empresa de maior grau de aderência ao Lean.
