Resumo: Starting from November 2024, the ACR/PCR Method (Aircraft Classification Rating/Pavement Classification Rating) will be accepted by civil aviation authorities to assess the pavement support capacity of airport pavements. Calculating the parameters related to this method requires structural characteristics, such as the modulus of elasticity, which in the case of existing pavements, can be obtained through retroanalysis. However, the results of this procedure may vary depending on the type of method and error minimization algorithms used to fit the deflectometric basins adopted in the software. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate whether the elasticity modules from different retroanalysis software generate differences in the parameters of the ACR/PCR Method in flexible airport pavements. For this purpose, retroanalyzed elasticity modules of materials composing the layers of landing and takeoff runways from two Brazilian airports were used, employing the software BAKFAA (v. 2003.11.3), BackCAP (v.2.0), BackMedina (v.1.2.0), and ELMOD (v.6). The obtained data were used to calculate PCR (Pavement Classification Rating), SUB CDF (Subgrade Cumulative Damage Factor), and remaining service life. The results of the retroanalysis showed close values of modulus of elasticity for the surface layer. However, in the base, sub-base, and subgrade layers, higher variability of values was observed. It was also found that in some segments, the PCR obtained based on the elasticity modules from BackCAP, BackMedina, and BAKFAA resulted in greater admissibility of aircraft movements. Concerning remaining service life (SUB CDF), the modules from BackMedina and BAKFAA resulted in values close to zero, indicating a theoretically infinite service life. Regarding ELMOD and BackCAP, values closer to 1.00 were obtained in the fatigue damage criterion. Thus, it is concluded that the choice of deflectometric basin retroanalysis software can influence the results of the ACR/PCR Method due to discrepancies in determining pavement capacity resistance, aircraft operation admissibility, and remaining service life of the structure

Thus, it is concluded that the choice of deflectometric basin retroanalysis software can influence the results of the ACR/PCR Method due to discrepancies in determining pavement capacity resistance, aircraft operation admissibility, and remaining service life of the structureA partir de novembro de 2024, o Método ACR/PCR (Aircraft Classification Rating/Pavement Classification Rating) será aceito pelas autoridades de aviação civil para notificar a capacidade de suporte de pavimentos aeroportuários.
