Resumo: This work aims to investigate the participation of the department of Managemental Accounting of a Mobile Phone’s Brazilian Company in the process of elaboration of the Strategical Planning of the Organization. The research is important because this sector is one of most dynamic and important of Brazilian and worldwide, thus possessing, potential to spread new practical of management that show utility in the resolution of the enterprise problems, promoting the application of this technology of management. To reach its target, were made a bibliographical research on the main subjects and interviews with managers and the controller of the company beyond periodicals, magazines, books technician, scientific and yearbooks in order to collect data about sectors and executives to the strategical planning of the organization. The analysis of the results established the current state of the use of the Managemental Accounting in the support to the process of planning of the strategical objectives of the company and served so that suggestions for improvements in order to reach the desired outcomes of the company.

A importância da pesquisa se deve ao fato do referido setor se apresentar como um dos mais dinâmicos da economia brasileira e mundial, possuindo assim, potencial para disseminar novas práticas de gestão que se mostrem úteis na resolução dos problemas empresariais, promovendo a aplicação dessa tecnologia de gestão. Para tanto, foi feita uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre os principais temas que são pertinentes à discussão, para que se delimitasse uma linha teórica que fundamentaria a pesquisa empírica. A metodologia da pesquisa contemplou uma pesquisa de campo, envolvendo entrevistas com dirigentes dos setores de controladoria e executivos ligados ao planejamento estratégico da organização além de dados bibliográficos e obras de divulgação da área, como jornais, revistas, livros técnicos, científicos e anuários. A análise dos resultados estabeleceu o atual estado do uso da Controladoria no apoio ao processo de planejamento dos objetivos estratégicos da empresa em questão e serviu para que fossem feitas sugestões para melhorias e implementação de novas abordagens, auxiliando no alcance dos resultados da empresa.
