Narratives have been used in human and social sciences in researches whose focus is to understand the personal meanings that subjects build to narrate a certain period of life, seeking the processes by which meanings are created and traded. In research with victims of violence, narrating becomes a way to verbalize this experience and the ability to recover from the traumatic event through other meanngs that allow their protection and well-being. This research aims to understand the mediating role of narrative about itself in the interactions of adolescents who experienced intra-family sexual abuse, from the comparative analysis of narratives constructed in the years of 2011 (monograph) and 2013 (dissertation) of two teenagers in the city of Fortaleza interviewed earlier in the monographic work of the researcher. It is a qualitative research of constructiveinterpretative, based on cultural history perspective. The analysis and organization of data were done by different meaning cores, they are: sense of family: between risk and protection; sexual abuse: senses in trading; aggressor; another way: protective aspects in the history of life. However, given the uniqueness of the life stories of two young, we elected the significance of core named altruism to one of the teenagers and relationships between sexual abuse and the establishment of identity to another. As a result, we find that the experience of sexual abuse continues to be the motto for the development of the narrative itself and to justify, in some cases, the way young people relate to others. Finally, the reframing of violence has been linked to the possibility of helping others through professional achievement.
