Dissertação (Mestrado em Filosofia) - Universidade Federal do Ceará, Fortaleza, 2018.Our goal is to demonstrate the relevance of Merleau-Ponty’s early work concerning the central issues required for the arise of a naturalized phenomenology. Thus, it is presented the arguments found on La Structure du Comportement (1942) and Phénoménologie de la Perception (1945), articulating and opposing Merleau-Ponty’s theses to different phenomenological and psychoanalytic positions. Finally, it is indicated the conexion and continuity of Merleau-Ponty’s thought in the paradigm of enactivism, formulated by Francisco Varela, Evan Thompson and Eleanor Rosche in Embodied Mind: Cognitive Science and Human Experience (1991).Trata-se aqui de demonstrar a relevância da obra inicial de Maurice Merleau-Ponty quanto às questões centrais necessárias à concretização de uma fenomenologia consoante com o naturalismo. Logo, a dissertação visa examinar as teses defendidas nas obras La Structure du Comportement (1942) e Phénoménologie de la Perception (1945), articulando-as e contrapondo-as a diferentes concepções fenomenológicas e psicanalíticas.
