Resumo: | Departing from any place can be a way to philosophize. And this point of departure is a space for questionings that have often been formulated by other philosophers in the past. It is the constant love or friendship for knowledge. Formulating philosophical questions is the basis of philosophizing or teaching philosophy. Reading a novel can be a starting point to philosophize, as well as a way of creating the conditions of possibilities for high school students to think philosophy beyond merely memorizing content. When reading a novel, one silently and collectively experiences the characters' subjectivities, which help to formulate questions. Young people can learn to think about issues that are proper to human beings when they follow a story, observe the plot in space and time, get tense with the climax and wait for a possible end. Romances are full of all the human problems that can be observed in reality; they, moreover, make it possible to discern subjectivities, which also attract young people. Literature is important not only to awaken the taste for reading a good novel, but also to serve as a foundation for reflections on philosophical concepts that relate to living a good life in the world. In this sense, the Sophrosyne Reading Club seeks to provide romanesque reading as a way to philosophize. It also aims at creating a collective environment for reading and philosophical argumentation based on novels, in addition to fostering youth autonomy. The methodology used in the research was action research. From the present research we had as results the philosophize through the novels for 6 long periods. |

E esse lugar é espaço para questionamentos que muitas vezes já foram formulados por outros filósofos em tempos pretéritos. É o constante amor ou amizade pelo saber. O formular questões filosóficas é basilar no filosofar, no ensinar filosofia. Partir da leitura de um romance para o filosofar pode ser um caminho para criarmos condições de possibilidades para os alunos do ensino médio pensarem a filosofia para além da memorização de conteúdos. Ao lermos um romance, vivenciamos silenciosa e coletivamente as subjetividades das personagens, os quais proporcionam-nos o formular de questões. Para os jovens, acompanhar uma estória, observar o seu enredo no tempo e espaço, ficar tenso com o clímax e esperar um possível final seria um caminho para pensar questões que são próprias dos seres humanos. Na trama romanesca floresce também os problemas humanos observados na realidade, além de oportunizar a observação de subjetividades, as quais também atraem os jovens. A literatura é importante para despertar não só o gosto pela leitura de um bom romance, como também, e a partir dela, para argumentarmos sobre conceitos filosóficos que dizem respeito ao bem viver no mundo. Dessa forma, o Clube de Leitura Sophrosýne, busca proporcionar a leitura romanesca como o caminho para o filosofar. Visa também criar um ambiente coletivo para a leitura e para a argumentação filosóficas a partir de romances, além de fomentar a autonomia juvenil. A metodologia usada foi a pesquisa-ação.
