Resumo: The rapid aging of the population in recent decades has created an urgent need for effective and accessible solutions to meet the growing demand for specialized care. In this context, the proposed study becomes essential to ensure the well-being of bedridden elderly individuals and to provide training for caregivers, whether they are family members or professionals. The primary objective of the study was to develop and validate an educational video focused on home care for bedridden elderly individuals. The methodology was divided into two parts: initially, a scoping literature review was conducted to gather relevant bibliographic information. Subsequently, the educational technology in video format was constructed and validated, serving as a scientific basis for knowledge dissemination to the public.The research involved five expert judges, all healthcare professionals, including a geriatrician, a family physician, a speech therapist, a physiotherapist, and a nurse. To validate the video, a content and appearance validation instrument was created, comprising an adapted questionnaire with eight items. The Content Validity Index (CVI) was employed to assess the proportion of agreement among judges regarding various aspects of the instrument and its items, allowing for both individual item analysis and overall content evaluation. The study's results indicate that the produced material is of excellent quality and highly suitable for the target audience. The unanimous evaluations, coupled with a CVI of 1.0 across all items, underscore the video's effectiveness as an educational resource, making it a reliable tool for caregiver training and guidance. The combination of the experts' high qualifications and the positive assessment of all analyzed criteria ensures that the video fulfills its educational and formative role exceptionally well. In conclusion, the video stands out as a highly effective educational tool, combining clear communication with practicality, thereby facilitating the learning and application of best practices in the care of bedridden elderly individuals. By providing direct and objective guidance, the video significantly contributes to improving the quality of care, promoting more humanized and appropriate assistance tailored to the specific needs of this population.

Com isso, o estudo proposto se torna essencial para garantir o bem-estar dos idosos e a capacitação dos cuidadores, sejam eles familiares ou profissionais. O estudo teve como objetivo geral construir e validar um vídeo educativo sobre os cuidados aos idosos acamados em domicílio. A metodologia do estudo foi dividida em duas partes, inicialmente foi realizado uma pesquisa do tipo revisão de escopo da literatura para levantamento de informações bibliográficas relevantes, a segunda parte da metodologia consistiu na construção e validação da tecnologia educativa em formato de vídeo, que servirá de base científica para a transmissão de conhecimento ao público. A revisão de escopo contou com 13 estudos realizados entre os anos de 2014 a 2024. A pesquisa foi realizada com cinco juízes-especialistas compostos por profissionais da saúde, dentre eles: 1 médico geriatra, 1 médico da família, 1 fonoaudiólogo, 1 fisioterapeuta e 1 enfermeiro. Para validar o vídeo foi criado um instrumento de validação de conteúdo e aparência, composto por um questionário adaptado, com 8 itens. Para valoração dos itens e cálculo dos resultados foi utilizado o Índice de Validade de Conteúdo (IVC) que mede a proporção de juízes em concordância sobre aspectos do instrumento e de seus itens, permitindo analisar cada item individualmente e também o conteúdo como um todo. Os resultados do estudo revelam que o material produzido possui uma excelente qualidade e é altamente adequado para o público-alvo. A unanimidade das avaliações, aliada ao IVC de 1,0 em todos os itens, aponta para a eficácia do vídeo como recurso educativo, o que o torna uma ferramenta confiável para a capacitação e orientação de cuidadores. A combinação da alta qualificação dos especialistas e a avaliação positiva de todos os critérios analisados garante que o vídeo cumpre de forma exemplar seu papel formativo e educativo. Por fim conclui-se que o vídeo se destaca como uma ferramenta educativa altamente eficaz, pois alia a clareza na comunicação à praticidade, facilitando o aprendizado e a aplicação das melhores práticas no cuidado aos idosos acamados.
