Resumo: The present research, titled The Place of Women in the History of Philosophy and in the Teaching of Philosophy at the High School Level, aims to verify the female representation in the History of Philosophy, analyzing textbooks in high school, aiming to insert other Philosophies into the high school curriculum structure, in addition to those that traditionally appear in the traditional curriculum component. We start from the assumption that, when there is no female representation in the teaching of Philosophy at the high school level, it is difficult to draw the students’ attention to delve into other knowledge. From the analysis of the theories presented, we will discuss the Eurocentric and misogynistic view of great theorists about the female figure throughout history. Later, we will present great thinkers and the barriers they had to overcome to gain a space in Philosophy, using as theoretical foundations the books: Philosophers: the presence of women in Philosophy and What philosophers think about women. After the analysis in this theoretical basis, we will deal with the creation of a curricular component, namely, the elective titled Women in the History of Philosophy, to be included in the catalog of electives of the State of Ceará. In order to instigate students to realize that there is the possibility of learning about great female thinkers and also awaken them to the possibility of doing other Philosophies that are not only those that are traditionally included in the common curricular component, motivating them to delve into the search for other epistemes. Finally, we also intend to awaken them to the inequalities existing between men and women, which women have had to go through and overcome from antiquity to the present day.

Finally, we also intend to awaken them to the inequalities existing between men and women, which women have had to go through and overcome from antiquity to the present day.A presente pesquisa, intitulada O lugar da mulher na História da Filosofia e no ensino de Filosofia no nível médio, objetiva verificar a representatividade feminina na História da Filosofia, analisando os livros didáticos no ensino médio, visando inserir outras Filosofias na estrutura curricular do ensino médio, além daquelas que tradicionalmente constam no componente curricular tradicional. Partimos do pressuposto de que, quando não há representatividade feminina no ensino de Filosofia do nível médio, fica difícil chamar a atenção do alunado para se aprofundar em outros conhecimentos. A partir de análises das teorias apresentadas, discorreremos sobre a visão eurocêntrica e misógina de grandes teóricos sobre a figura feminina ao longo da história. Posteriormente, apresentaremos grandes pensadoras e as barreiras que tiveram que ultrapassar para conquistar um espaço na Filosofia, utilizando como fundamentos teóricos os livros: Filósofas: a presença das mulheres na Filosofia e O que os filósofos pensam sobre as mulheres. Após a análise nessa base teórica, trataremos da criação de um componente curricular, a saber, a eletiva intitulada Mulheres na História da Filosofia, a ser incluída no catálogo de eletivas do Estado do Ceará. A fim de instigar os alunos e alunas a perceberem que há a possibilidade de aprendizagem sobre grandes mulheres pensadoras e também despertá-los(as) para a possibilidade de fazer outras Filosofias que não apenas as que tradicionalmente estão inclusas no componente comum curricular, motivando-os(as) a se aprofundarem na busca por outras epistemes.
