Resumo: This work deals with the projects and works developed by José Neudson Bandeira Braga, an important figure in the consolidation of modern Ceará architecture, from 1960 to 1980, as well as the development of his personal and academic formation. It has as its object the technical collection of its architectural production and, in this set, seven modern buildings with different purposes are studied in more depth: Center of Exporters of Ceará (1962), Imperial Palace Hotel (1964-1972), Coronado Palace Building (1965-1966), Bank of the State of Ceará - BEC "dos peixinhos" (1968-1973), Residence of the architect (1970), Convention Center of Ceará (1973-1974) and Ceará Department of Education - Seduc (1980-1982). Thus, the analysis of these buildings, from a methodology developed based on the theo-retical reference on modern Brazilian architecture, becomes relevant, due to the undeniable historicalimportance of his work, which constitutes a milestone in the evolution of architecture in Ceará.

Tem como objeto o acervo técnico de sua produção arquitetônica e, nesse conjunto, sete edifícios modernos com finalidades diversas são estudados com maior profundidade: Centro de Exportadores do Ceará (1962), Imperial Palace Hotel (1964-1972), Edifício Palácio Coronado (1965-1966), Banco do Estado do Ceará - BEC “dos peixinhos” (1968-1973), Residência do arquiteto (1970), Centro de Convenções do Ceará (1973- 1974) e Secretaria de Educação do Ceará – Seduc (1980-1982).
