Resumo: | In this thesis we study multiplely warped six-dimensional brane world models. This scenario was initially proposed by Choudhury and Sengupta in 2007 as a natural extension of the Randall-Sundrum type-I model. Due to the warped factors in the two extra dimensions, intermediate energy scales arise which are predictably detectable in modern particle accelerators. The warped factors that emerge from the double warped geometry, in one extra dimension it is of the Randall-Sundrum type and in the other dimension it is hyperbolic. We find the analytical solutions for the equations of motion of bosonic fields by analyzing their respective mass spectra. Afterwards, we generalize this scenario with a time-dependent term, that is, a scenario with cosmology observing what changes occur in the double warped geometry. Next, we study the behavior of the scalar and gauge fields. We obtain the equations of motion analytically and arrive at the solutions of massive modes in the effective theory in four dimensions. Hence, we find the dependence of the mass spectrum of these fields on the Hubble parameter. |
