Resumo: | From the conception according to which art results from the association of unique peculiarities between what can be manipulated and its manipulator, this work has as its theme the relationship between artist and manipulated resources in the realization of the poetic project of representation of the human figure. Based on the experiences of the authorof this text, as an artist who uses both paper, pencil, ink, stump, and bits, bytes and virtual spheres that can be molded in 3D modeling software, the aim is to analyze how digital media become if creative resource. The exploratory research methodology is adopted,which aims to improve ideas or discover intuitions and takes as an object of analysis practical experiences with the researched problem and analysis of examples that stimulate understanding. It is argued that the technological tools, impregnated with the values of the economically richest nations of the capitalist system; when at the service of a poeticproject, they do not dispense with the so-called intellectual intuition, in the words of Hui (2020). Technological tools, therefore, can be used as a creative resource for a poetic project that will inevitably carry with it the marks of its author: a symbolic being, situatedin a time- space-culture marked by a set of values and experiences that ( trans)form as an individual. Such values and experiences will be portrayed by him, questioned, rethought, exorcised; generating the most diverse meanings and sensations; but that which is manipulated will also interfere with what emerges as a result of the manipulation. It is understood that the art of drawing and modeling in a virtual environment have intersections, which is why the analysis undertaken here will place these two modalities of making art side by side. In this reflection, dialogues are established with the works of Burnhan (1968), Salles (2010, 2006, 1998), Jaffé (2019), Levy (1999), Latour (2001), Hui (2020), Dussel (2019), Benjamin (1975) and Flusser (2007;1985). |

A partir das próprias experiências do autor deste texto, como artista que se vale tanto de papel, lápis, tinta, esfuminho, quanto de bits, bytes e esferas virtuais moldáveis em softwares de modelagem 3D, intenta-se analisar como os meios digitais tornam-se recurso criativo. Adota- se a metodologia de pesquisa exploratória, que visa ao aprimoramento de ideias ou à descoberta de intuições e assume, como objeto de análise, experiências práticas com o problema pesquisado e análise de exemplos que estimulem a compreensão. Defende-se que as ferramentas tecnológicas, impregnadas dos valores das nações economicamente mais ricas do sistema capitalista; quando à serviço de um projeto poético, não prescindem da chamada intuição intelectual, nas palavras de Hui (2020). As ferramentas tecnológicas, portanto, podem ser utilizadas como recurso criativo para um projeto poético que, inevitavelmente, levará consigo as marcas do seu autor: ser simbólico, situado em tempo-espaço-cultura demarcados por um conjunto de valores e por vivências que o (trans)formam como indivíduo. Tais valores e vivências serão por ele retratados, questionados, repensados, exorcizados; gerando significados e sensações os mais diversos; mas aquilo que se manipula também interferirá no que emergirá como resultado da manipulação. Entende-se que a arte do desenho e a da modelagem em ambiente virtual guardam interseções, por isso a análise aqui empreendida colocará lado a lado essas duas modalidades do fazer em arte.
