Resumo: | This work proposes a method for elaborating vehicle emission factors in urban freight transportation , considering different driver profiles and incorporating local aspects. Among the reasons that most influence vehicle pollutant emissions, stands out the driving style, and although driving patterns are known to strongly affect pollutant emissions from vehicles existing empirical knowledge about driving patterns is still limited. Conventional methods for obtaining emission factors do not incorporate driving behaviors and this behavior correlates fuel consumptio n and pollutant emissions from simulations in models based on velocity and/or acceleration, from emission factors already embedded in these models. If these models are not sensitive to drive behavior, possibly these correlations are inadequate. In addition , local urban aspects such as land use, road types and local traffic may influence vehicle driving mode. For this, vehicle, road types, drive profiles and other necessary parameters to obtain the emission factors were defined. A questionnaire was developed to trace and classify socioeconomic profiles of drivers. Experiments were divided into two phases. First, the hypothesis that conductor profiles can be defined and grouped and that for each group, driving profiles are similar hence the pollutant emissions as well. Second, how local urban aspects influence driving and emissions. The application of the proposed method consisted in inviting 28 drivers, 19 freight transport professionals and 9 non professionals, to drive an Urban Freight Transportation , diesel combustion, to drive on three major avenues Fortaleza city, collector and arterials routes. During the trips, parameters of driving cycles, road and pollutant emissions were monitored on board every 1 Hz. In general, the results show that there are signif icant differences in driving behavior between professional and non professional drivers and, consequently, in pollutant emissions. As for local aspects, it was found that they interfere with the driving style. Emission factors were obtained for different a ggregation levels and have varied applications in the planning process. |

Dentre as razões que mais influenciam nas emissões de poluentes veiculares, destaca se a forma de condução e embora se saiba que os padrões de condução afetem fortemente as emissões de poluentes provenientes dos veículos, o conhecimento empírico existente sobre os padrões de condução ainda é limitado. Os métodos convencionais para obtenção dos fatores de emissão não incorporam os comportamentos de condução e em geral, esse comportamento correlaciona o consumo de combustíveis e as emissões de poluentes a partir de simulações em modelos baseados em velocidade e/ou aceleração, partindo de fatores de emissões já embutidos nesses modelos. Se esses modelos não são sensíveis ao comportamento do condutor, possivelmente essas correlações estejam inadequadas. Além disso, aspectos locais como o uso do solo, os tipos de via e o tráfego local podem influenciar no modo de condução veicular. Para isso, definiram se o veículo, os tipos de vias, os perfis de condutores e os parâmetros representativos e necessários para a obtenção dos fatores de emissão. Um questionário foi desenvolvido para traçar e classificar perfis socioeconômico de condutores. Os experimentos foram divididos em duas fases. Na primeira, verificou se a hipótese de que perfis de condutores podem ser definidos e agrupados e que para cada classe, os perfis de condução são semelhantes, consequentemente, as emissões de poluentes também. Na segunda fase, verificou se como os aspectos locais influenciam no modo de condução e nas emissões. A aplicação do método proposto consistiu no convite de 28 condutores, sendo 19 profissionais do transporte de carga e 9 não profissionais, para dirigir um Veículo Urbano de Carga (VUC), a diesel, para percorrer três grandes avenidas d a cidade de Fortaleza, coletora e arteriais. Durante as viagens, foram monitorados onboard parâmetros de ciclos de condução, via e emissões de poluentes a cada 1 Hz. Em geral, os resultados mostram que há diferenças significativas na forma de condução entre condutores profissionais e não profissionais e, consequentemente, nas emissões de poluentes. Quanto aos aspectos locais, verificou se que estes interferem no modo de condução.
