Dissertação (Mestrado em Saúde da Família) - Campus de Sobral, Universidade Federal do Ceará, Sobral, 2017.The studies carried out to outline this work reveal the political, institutional, conceptual and methodological fragility of working with the youths in the health sector, who do not dialogue with the perspective of thinking about health promotion based on the diversity of youth experience. The general objective of this study was to understand how young people mean their health in the daily life of their youth cultures, the field research is a study of ethnographic character of qualitative approach and was carried out in two phases. In the first phase I gave priority to a more ethnographic observation through the dense description of this daily life in the field diaries in which the strategies of approaching youth groups were given. The study was based on the Recanto Youth Station because this is a space of sociability of young people themselves. My gaze turned to the groups that shared meanings and the group that possessed such characteristics was pop dance group Cia Marshall. The second phase of the research was marked by the use of more formal techniques, such as the interviews that took place in March of this year (2017) and totaled the number of 09 interviewees, I felt the need to know how in group this discourse was produced And opted for another technique that was the focal group. The young people of CIA Marshall mean health by sharing a culture that establishes links of meaning to the denial of their sexual identities arising from processes of non-recognition of those who "should" be the primary expression of attention and affection. It is in this sharing of experiences that they find in the peers the recognition of themselves from the rescue of the other's eyes, producing something more, that here in an interpretative perspective (PAIS, 2003), I call health.Os estudos realizados para o delineamento deste trabalho revelam a fragilidade política, institucional, conceitual e metodológica, no atendimento dado às juventudes pelos agentes do setor da saúde, que não dialogam na perspectiva de pensar a promoção da saúde a partir da diversidade da experiência juvenil. O objetivo geral deste estudo foi compreender como os jovens significam sua saúde no cotidiano de suas culturas juvenis. A pesquisa de campo é um estudo de caráter etnográfico de abordagem qualitativa e foi realizada em duas fases. Na primeira fase dei prioridade a uma observação mais etnográfica, através da descrição densa desse cotidiano nos diários de campo em que se deram as estratégias de aproximação dos grupos juvenis. O estudo teve como cenário a Estação da Juventude do Recanto, por ser este um espaço de sociabilidade dos próprios jovens. Meu olhar se voltou para os grupos que compartilham significados e o grupo que demonstrou essa característica de forma mais acentuada foi o grupo de dança pop Cia Marshall. A segunda fase da pesquisa foi marcada pelo uso de técnicas mais formais, como por exemplo as entrevistas que aconteceram em março deste ano (2017) e que totalizaram o número de 09 entrevistados. Senti a necessidade de saber como, em grupo, esse discurso era produzido e optei por outra técnica, que foi o grupo focal. Os jovens da Cia Marshall significam a saúde a partir do compartilhamento de uma cultura que estabelece elos de sentido diante da negação de suas identidades sexuais advindas de processos de não reconhecimento daqueles que “deveriam” ser expressão primária de atenção e afeto.
