This dissertation is therefore an attempt to trace, explain and analyze the Marxian theoretical elements that compose this critique, from the immanent analysis of works selected from Marx between the years 1843 and 1844, a period in which this philosopher lived a theoretical reversal In the search for a "radical", materialist, concrete philosophy, aiming at overcoming its philosophical bases linked to idealism. In the second and third moments, we explain the elements of Marx's critique of religion, expressed in some of his writings, namely, On the Jewish Question (1843), Critique of Philosophy of Right of Hegel-Introduction (1843-44) and Glosas Criticism of the article "'The king of Prussia and social reform'. Of a Prussian "(1844), texts in which Marx criticizes the limits of modern politics and state. Marx assumes religion with double and dialectical determination: On the one hand, it is the result of unmet needs in the world and, on the other, a possibility of overcoming these needs, even as illusory liberation. Por não se tratar de uma crítica externa à religião (do tipo que não busca pela essência da religião, mas discutir incoerências doutrinárias), “reformista”, “anticlerical” ou “ateia” vulgar, Marx procurou superar todos esses tipos parciais de “crítica à religião”, assumindo o fundamento último da crítica de Ludwig Feuerbach (1804-1872) à religião, o de que os humanos produzem subjetivamente a religião, o mundo da religião, contribuindo com Feuerbach, para quem a essência da religião estava no ato de expressar a “autoconsciência” e o “autossentimento” dos humanos. Por isso, nossa dissertação tem como ponto de partida uma análise da crítica de Feuerbach à religião. Nos segundo e terceiro momentos, explicitamos os elementos da crítica de Marx à religião, expressos em alguns dos seus textos, a saber, Sobre a questão judaica (1843), Crítica da filosofia do direito de Hegel-Introdução (1843-44) e Glosas críticas ao artigo “‘O rei da Prússia e a reforma social’. De um prussiano” (1844), textos em que Marx critica os limites da política e do Estado modernos. Marx assume a religião com dupla e dialética determinação: Por um lado, é resultado das necessidades humanas não supridas no mundo e, por outro, uma possibilidade de superação destas necessidades, mesmo como libertação ilusória.
