Resumo: This work is about Business Management, Leadership and Change. Through a case study of a Six Sigma implementation in a company, is verified as it , its management and employees reacted to this process. The target of this study is to verify if the role model was in accordance with business literature about Six Sigma, and also to find what are the critical factors that will impact the implementation. Another objective is to understand how the different leveis of this organization see the whole process. Understanding how Leadership and Change Management are irnportant to achieve success is another key objective. Improvements are suggested in order to have a more efficient company.

Através do estudo de caso de implantação de um programa Seis Sigma em uma empresa industrial, verifica-se como a organização, sua liderança e colaboradores foram impactados. Procurou-se observar, se o modelo adotado seguiu a seqüência lógica prescrita pela literatura existente sobre o assunto, determinando quais os fatores críticos para esta implantação. Estuda-se, também, qual a percepção dos diferentes níveis hierárquicos da empresa em relação a este processo. Busca-se entender a importância da liderança e da gestão de mudança para o sucesso.
