This research presents an investigation about actions related with the art of healing in the community of Vila de Itaúnas, Conceição da Barra, ES, understood as expressions of some spatialities, modus vivendi. The space taken into consideration is the produced one, spatiality being identified as the organizacional concrete empirical state of beings' space existence form. The initial principle is that man's existence in the world is spatial, as to inhabit, and language is the home of the being, and in that the being which can be understood is language himself, in a way beyond linguistic. In this in case that, the form of spatializing, inhabiting, incarnates the ethos in a territory, turning it into a place as itself, even so the being-there - dasein - being, in language and through it, express always a modus vivendis. This form to inhabit can be read and perceived as a Connivent Landscape, understanding landscapes as texts that can be read. The research's objective is to understand how the spatiality is constructed by the social actors in the Village of Itaúnas; why, how and where it is present inside the scope of the inquiry. For that, the ethnogeografic method is used, in a perspective to capture the sociocultural aspects of the daily and extra-daily space (party), searching a synthesis. The work is centered in a quarrel of five subjects that complete each other in the synthesis, by means of a dialectic process: (i) contextualization of the Village in the social-historical-geographic-cultural aspects; (ii) moments of being in the world argued as identity concepts of spatiality, territoriality, place and identity processes in the intersubjectivity; (iii) moments of the cultural landscape (as a portion of a moment, captured and interpreted images); (iv) social nets interpreted as affection nets, culminating with the ethnogeografic moment; (v) actions with healing notions as an expression of spatiality. Two maps were constructed to define the lived space experience: a mental map and an interpretative map. The Ticumbi (a ball or meeting of congos) is interpreted as a social, religious and political Institution of the popular Catholicism of the Village (the most important one), and its specialists of the craft of healing as a subordinate institution. In this craft, we present and describe a knowledge corpus of healers and midwives. There is a distance between biomedical and official healing knowledge, which represents damage for the collectivity in its right to health and quality of life. In these forms of thinking and acting, during health/illness/cure process, it was revealed a close relation between society-nature, microcosm and macrocosm, that are present in the lived space, as strategies and tactics of world's spatialization, a cosmology where these forms are incorporated, inventing and recreating a world. On the whole, it is configured as a symbolic capital and true incorporeal patrimony of the collectivity of Vila de Itaúnas. It urges to open a communication channel between Social and State Institutions, to foment a dialogue between knowledges. May Geography exist not only to make the war, may its instruments promote peace and dialogue.
