Resumo: The present dissertation had as its theme of study the Rio Caçador railway station. Through its analysis, we sought to understand the role played by the station in the process of configuration of the urban landscape of the current city of Caçador / SC, between 1917 and 1950. For this, the history of the implementation of the Road was resumed. Paulo - Rio Grande, paying attention to the implications of its installation in the cultural landscape of the Upper Valley of. Methodologically, the research was structured in three stages: literature review, data collection and analysis and interpretation of results. Throughout the study, it was found that the Rio Caçador station played a fundamental role for the development of the current city of Caçador / SC, becoming a central element in the articulation of the various social agents present in this region, besides acting as a reference. physics in the process of structuring the urban landscape of the municipality.

Por meio da sua análise, buscou-se compreender o papel desempenhado pela estação no processo de configuração da paisagem urbana do atual município de Caçador/SC, entre os anos de 1917 a 1950. Para isso, retomou-se a história da implantação da Estrada de Ferro São Paulo – Rio Grande, atentando para as implicações de sua instalação na paisagem cultural do Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa foi estruturada em três etapas: revisão bibliográfica, coleta de dados e análise e interpretação dos resultados.
