Resumo: There is no doubt about the importance of the evaluation of the post-graduate programs for the knowledge, improvement and dissemination of the Masters and doctorate courses. This dissertation aimed to describe the profile of the students and graduate students of the graduate program in Health Sciences of the Federal University of Goiás, analyzing the socio-demographic variables, describe the students profession, the time taken for titration in the master’s and PhD levels, evolution of the scientific production and on the titration in the professional practice or teaching of the graduates. This is a cross-sectional study, from the data of the office of the program, in the period from 2006 to 2013, besides the application of a questionnaire. The studied population was composed by students enrolled in the year 2013 and the titrated until this year, comprising the first ten years of the program´s existence. From the 596 forms distributed 355 were answered (59.6%). The questionnaire applied had 23 questions covering the most relevant aspects for the assessment of the students and graduates. The data were analyzed in the SPSS – Statistical Package for Social Science. The profile of graduates is characterized by the majority being female, with the predominant age group of 30 to 50 years, mostly married, white born in the Midwest of Brazil, most of them from the city of Goiânia, 74.9% employed 51.5% in public institutions, of which 49.6% in teaching activities. The average time for titration was of 27.3 months for masters and 35.1 for PhD. With regards to the profession, medicine students dominated, followed by graduates in physiotherapy, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, biomedicine, nutrition, physical education, psychology, speech therapy, biology, chemistry, social worker, music therapy, information systems, education, veterinary medicine, visual arts, architecture, law and administration. Regarding publications, it was observed that 16.5% of the graduate students published articles before entering the program; 17.0% during and 33.3% upon completion of the program, while in the PhD program 33.2% before entering the program, 32.3% during, and 55.0% after the course conclusion. With regards to titration 78.9% informed that they contributed to a better professional insertion and 57.8% obtained improvement in the financial income. It can be concluded that the Graduate Program in Health Sciences/FUG has been contributing significantly to the formation of masters and doctors, for until the year 2013 163 masters and 120 doctors were titrated, the course being rated as excellent/good by 55.5% of students and graduates, while 43.5% considered it regular. Three students (0.9%) rated it bad of very bad.

Esta Dissertação teve como objetivos descrever o perfil dos discentes e dos egressos do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal de Goiás, analisando as variáveis sóciodemográficas, descrever a profissão dos discentes, o tempo gasto para titulação nos níveis de mestrado e doutorado, evolução da produção cientifica e reflexo da titulação na prática profissional ou docente dos egressos. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, a partir dos dados do Programa, no período compreendido entre 2006 a 2013, além da aplicação de um questionário. A população estudada foi constituída dos alunos matriculados no ano de 2013 e dos titulados até este ano, compreendendo os dez primeiros anos de existência do Programa. Dos 596 formulários distribuídos foram respondidos 355 (59,6%). O questionário aplicado continha 23 questões, abrangendo os aspectos considerados mais relevantes para avaliação dos alunos e dos egressos. Os dados foram analisados no SPSS – Statisticalpackage for social science. O perfil dos egressos caracterizou por ser a maioria do sexo feminino, predominando a faixa etária de 30 a 50 anos, a maior parte casados, brasileiros, brancos, naturais da região centrooeste, a maioria procedente da cidade de Goiânia, sendo que 74,9% possuíam vínculo empregatício à época do estudo, 51,5% em instituições públicas, dos quais 49,6% em atividade docente. O tempo médio para titulação foi de 27,3 meses para o mestrado e 35,1 para o doutorado. Com relação à profissão predominaram os graduados em medicina seguidos dos graduados em fisioterapia, farmácia, odontologia, enfermagem, biomedicina, nutrição, educação física, psicologia, fonoaudiologia, biologia, química, assistente social, musicoterapia, sistema de informação, pedagogia, medicina veterinária, artes visuais, arquitetura, advocacia e administração. Com relação a publicações observou-se que 16,5% dos mestrandos publicaram artigos antes do ingresso no Programa, 17,0% durante e 33,3% após a conclusão do curso, enquanto no doutorado foi de 33,2% antes do ingresso no programa, 32,3% durante e 55,0% após a conclusão do curso. No que se refere à titulação 78,9% informaram que a pós graduação contribuiu para melhor inserção profissional e 57,8% que obtiveram melhora na renda. Pode-se concluir que o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Saúde/UFG vem contribuindo significativamente para a formação de mestres e doutores, pois até o ano de 2013 foram titulados163 mestres e 120 doutores, tendo o curso sido avaliado como ruim ou péssimo por apenas três discentes (0,9%), regular por 43,5% enquanto 55,5% dos discentes e egressos consideraram o curso como ótimo/bom.Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Goiás - FAPEGapplication/pdfporUniversidade Federal de GoiásPrograma de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Saúde (FM)UFGBrasilFaculdade de Medicina - FM (RG)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessEgressosDiscentesPerfilCiências da SaúdeGraduatesStudentsProfileHealth SciencesCIENCIAS DA SAUDEPerfil dos discentes e egressos do Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal de Goiásinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis-100686431261774531060060060060015457724759504863388765449414823306929-961409807440757778reponame:Repositório Institucional da UFGinstname:Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)instacron:UFGORIGINALDissertação - Valdecina Quirino Rodrigues - 2016.pdfDissertação - Valdecina Quirino Rodrigues - 2016.pdfapplication/pdf12316055http://repositorio.bc.ufg.br/tede/bitstreams/d2824f30-8763-4e7c-a989-e18ed613e4b8/download0e775ee389b45e46b593fd72b36cea4cMD55LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
