Resumo: The present research is a professional Master's thesis, linked to the line of research Theoretical-methodological conceptions and Teaching Practices of the Pos-Graduate Program in Teaching in Basic Education, from the Center for Research Applied to Education at the Federal University of Goiás. The influence of the media characters on children's play becomes. The study was based on the Historical-Cultural Theory. This work's guiding question was: To what extent do media characters influence the play of three-year-old children? This work's general objective was to understand how media characters are present in the games of three-year-olds. Therefore, qualitative research was carried out, with a literature review related to the investigated theme and empirical research with Early Childhood Education institutions' visits. The data were collected by observing children's games into handling created based on media characters. Three Educational Products were made from the data collected, in a literary book format, entitled, "I have grown a little, and I still want to grow more," video book, "I have grown a little and still want to grow more" in Libras and blog, "I have grown a little and still want to grow more," looking to contribute to pre-school children and professionals working in early childhood education. The children investigated in the research were those in the three-year-old group enrolled in the research field. The study was based on the assumptions of Historical-Cultural Theory, based on the studies of Vigotski (2008), Elkonin (2009), Prestes (2010), Freitas (2012), Pino (2005), Libâneo (2005), as well as in theoretical approaches that analyze the subject's relationships with information and communication technologies, such as Belloni (2010), Nascimento (2014), Moraes (2016) and Peixoto (2008, 2012). Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative approach, based on the theoretical framework's epistemological basis and the children's social, cultural, and historical context. The data showed that play is influenced by media characters accessible to children and can contribute to child psychic development since media content represents, in some way, the organization of social life, and this is the basis of role representations created by kids.

Com ela investigou-se a influência dos personagens midiáticos nas brincadeiras das crianças. O estudo foi fundamentado na Teoria Histórico-Cultural. A pergunta norteadora deste trabalho foi: Em que medida os personagens midiáticos influenciam a brincadeira das crianças de três anos de idade? O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi compreender de que forma os personagens midiáticos se fazem presentes nas brincadeiras das crianças de três anos. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, com revisão de literatura relacionada ao tema investigado e pesquisa empírica com visitas à instituição de Educação Infantil. Os dados foram coletados por meio da observação das brincadeiras das crianças, no manuseio de brinquedos que foram criados com base em personagens midiáticos. Foram confeccionados três Produtos educacionais a partir dos dados coletados, em formato de livro literário, intitulado Eu já cresci um pouco e ainda quero crescer mais, vídeo-livro, Eu já cresci um pouco e ainda quero crescer mais em Libras e blog, Eu já cresci. Com isso, vislumbrou-se contribuir com as crianças da idade pré-escolar e os profissionais que atuam na educação infantil. As crianças investigadas na pesquisa foram aquelas do agrupamento de três anos de idade, matriculadas na instituição, campo de pesquisa. O estudo fundamentou-se nos pressupostos da Teoria Histórico-Cultural, com base nos estudos de Vigotski (2008), Elkonin (2009), Prestes (2010), Freitas (2012), Pino (2005), Libâneo (2005), bem como em abordagens teóricas que analisam as relações dos sujeitos com as TIC, como de Belloni (2010), Nascimento (2014), Moraes (2016) e Peixoto (2008, 2012). A análise dos dados foi realizada em uma abordagem qualitativa, tomando como base epistemológica o referencial teórico adotado e o contexto social, cultural e histórico das crianças.
