This dissertation aims to analyze Green Technologies - also known as Environmentally Sustainable Technologies - as an instrument for socializing agricultural development and combating climate change. The initial goal is to demonstrate the benefits and opportunities that this type of technology can bring to society in general. Thus, the research identified other factors that directly or indirectly affect the adoption of large-scale green technologies by the dominant economic system, which is predominantly used for technologies that degrade the environment and increase social inequalities. Thus, the research sought first to highlight the construction of the hegemonic discourse of development, which monopolizes the term by the primacy of economic growth to the detriment of social, environmental and cultural aspects. As a result, the research identified that green technologies can soften the contradictions between Capital and Nature, as it stimulates the development of sustainable technologies through a faster process in the patenting of these technologies, which contributes to the agricultural development allowing the producer Non-industrialized countries participates in the system in a more democratic way. Despite the positive results, the research verified that, in order for a technological paradigm shift, it is necessary to rethink the values that guide the economic system in the world.
