Pegler is influenced by several factors: lineage types, temperature, formulation of the cultivation substrate and competition with other fungi. The objective of this work was to evaluate the biological efficiency (BE) of five lineages of L. edodes (Le1, Le2, Le3, Le4 and Le6) in function of two environments: one with controlled temperature and the other without temperature control; of the substrate type: there were 3 formulations with varied concentrations and the types of meal used as supplement; and of the sawdust pre-treatment: two formulations with washed sawdust and the same formulations with unwashed sawdust. According to the results obtained, it was verified that BE was better for all of the lineages in the substrate with higher meal concentration, however regarding the 2 cultivation environments, the controlled temperature environment was better for Le2, Le3 and Le6, with 79.55, 75.81 and 82.3% of EB respectively. Le1 presented the same BE (78.6) in the two cultivation environments, while Le4 presented better performance in the environment without temperature control with 83.14% EB. There was no difference in BE between the washed and unwashed sawdust for each block that produced mushrooms, however the treatment with washed sawdust had lower contamination, in other words, when considereing the total production, the use of washed sawdust allows higher production.A produtividade de Lentinula edodes (Berk.) Pegler é influenciada por diversos fatores, como tipo de linhagem, temperatura, formulação do substrato de cultivo e competição com outros fungos. Este trabalho foi realizado comco objetivo de avaliar a eficiência biológica (EB) de cinco linhagens de L. edodes (Le1, Le2, Le3, Le4 e Le6) em função de dois ambientes, um com temperatura controlada e outro sem controle de temperatura; do tipo de substrato, foram três formulações, variando-se a concentração e os tipos de farelos utilizados como suplemento e do pré-tratamento da serragem: duas formulações com serragem lavada e as mesmas formulações com serragem não lavada. De acordo com os resultados obtidos, verificou-se que a EB foi melhor para todas as linhagens com o substrato que teve maior concentração de farelos, porém, com relação aos dois ambientes de cultivo, o ambiente com temperatura controlada foi melhor para Le2, Le3 e Le6, com 79,55%, 75,81% e 82,3% de EB, respectivamente. Le1 apresentou a mesma EB (78,6) nos dois ambientes de cultivo, enquanto Le4 apresentou melhor desempenho no ambiente sem controle de temperatura, com 83,14% EB.
