Resumo: The strawberry culture has great social importance in Brazil, especially for small farmers, and the quality of seedlings is critical to production process. The objective of this study was to evaluate the production of seedlings of three cultivars in protected cultivation systems on three different substrates and produce fruit in different cropping systems. The experiments were performed at t INCAPER, Domingos Martins - ES, in tunnels of 1.8 m, and beds covered with transparent plastic micro and drip irrigated. For seedlings in the tunnel was used 3 x 3 factorial with four replications in a randomized block design with three cultivars Camarosa, Camino Real and aromas and three substrates, composed Provaso®, compost vegetable peels and mushroom compost exhausted. Plant evaluations were performed after a cycle of 195 days. Cultivar Camarosa stood out as the most productive, followed by 'Aromas' and 'Camino Real' to standard seedlings over 6 mm in diameter of the crown. The substrate consists of a mushroom and exhausted Provaso allowed greater production of seedlings for all cultivars. We conducted two experiments, in order to evaluate the fruit production of strawberry cultivars, obtained by three different methods of seedling production, cropping system using plastic tunnels in low and high, covered with polyethylene milky. The experimental design was randomized blocks in factorial scheme with four repetitions of the tunnel to tunnel down and three high. The harvest of the fruit was held from August to December 2009. For the system of production of strawberry in low tunnels Camarosa cultivar showed higher productivity of cultivars then Camino Real and Aromas seedlings imported from Chile, which was also observed for the system of mass production in high tunnels. Fruit production in low tunnels with seedlings from Chile, cultivars Aromas and Camarosa was statistically higher than production in greenhouse then produced from the field. The cultivar Camino Real had similar production from Chile with the seedlings and greenhouse and the seedlings above the field. For mass production of marketable fruit in high tunnels was no statistical difference with cultivars Camarosa and Camino Real with seedlings produced in Chile. In the high tunnel system ‘Camarosa’ with seedlings of Chile does not differ statistically which seedling greenhouse.
