The terms social capital and accountability are consider variables potencial of the equation of the social devolopment ad the prosperity in the region economic. This happens becouse makes easier the coordenation actions, inproving and incriazing the efficiency of the society by caracteristics, as sutch confidence, cooperation and participation, this way they can bee recognized as a help to make the social and economics development easyer. The objectives of this study were analyse the existence of a social capital and accountability in two different coffe regions around the city of Três Pontas, that products traditional kind and for the city of Poço Fundo, that products organic coffee on the south region of Minas Gerais state. Specifically this study intendent to identify, by use of social capital and accountability, mesure and identify this variables, considering a methodology aprouche gyed by differents methodologies of research capable of analyse the social reality on this two cities in matter. With this study we could see on the region of Três Pontas, witch the coffee-growers were conected with the cooperatives on the region then they could provide personal benefits, specialy when we talk about the marketing envolving their product. On this region were identify more open nets of the coffee-growers and caracteristics of institucional social capital, refering to the trust of the employesr on the cooperative, this way the team work made easier the improvement of the economic and the social resorces. On the city of Poço Fundo were found ways of social capital as a group resorce and neds more strong and close, witch the trust by cooperation and solidarity alouded the organic coffee-growers of this region billded and association, and after, a cooperative with the beginnings of working management inside the filosofy of the fair trade. This Ned criated by the coffe-growers secured them empowerment to act in a competitive market, witch were intimately conected at the economic and social transformation of the coffeegrowing on the region. As for the existence of the accountability, realized, on the city of de Poço Fundo, were realized the needzing of stimulatea comunication and participation of the employers by formal and unformal mins witch enshurenced them the criation of accountability mecanisms that alouded larger and bigger knot bettwen the worker on the cooperative. At last, was inferd that as such the social capital and the accountability are variables potencializes of the social development and the economics prosperity, because it makes easier the coordenations actions bettwen the coffee-growers of the both regions studied than can bee possible the develop the coffee culture on the region.
