Resumo: The Brazilian swine and in the other countries where it represents an important economic activity are going through intense changes at the technical field and in its form of structuration. By this way, appropriate installations are the most important factors to get productivity. The aim was a study with the installations improvement, as well as the planning and management of its implantation in order to decrease expenses and to viability the swine buildings. The building planning used the PERT/CPM methods that through software Ms Project as analyses parameter gave a vision of the project evolution. There was realized the replanning and the reprogramming of the works using the techniques of the PERT/CPM method in the period assessment, labor (men/hour) and the task of the installation project of swine. Using the project planning to the swine implantation the PERT/CPM method they had a 53% reduction on the reallocation of bricklayer on 12 days and 43% reduction for laborer on the same period.

Por ser uma atividade extremamente competitiva, exige, dos que a ela se dedicam, um constante aperfeiçoamento tecnológico. Com base na análise dos problemas e potencialidades dos grandes produtores mundiais, fica claro que o Brasil apresenta amplas possibilidades de se firmar como grande fornecedor de proteína animal. Neste sentido, instalações físicas adequadas são um dos principais fatores para se atingir essa produtividade. Com este objetivo, foi realizado um estudo com o aperfeiçoamento das instalações físicas, bem como o planejamento e o gerenciamento da sua implantação, a fim de minimizar custos e viabilizar construções destinadas à criação de suínos. O projeto arquitetônico foi elaborado de modo a integrar as instalações no ambiente. Esse projeto consiste na determinação e na representação prévia dos atributos técnicos da edificação, abrangendo ambientes exteriores e interiores. Além da produtividade e da competitividade econômica, qualquer sistema de produção deve primar pela proteção ambiental, não somente pela exigência legal, mas também por proporcionar maior qualidade de vida à população rural e urbana. Para o planejamento da construção foram utilizados os métodos PERT/CPM que, por meio do software MS Project como parâmetro para análise, forneceram uma visão mais realista da evolução do projeto, evitando-se interpretações enganosas e superficiais sobre a execução da obra. Uma das principais atividades é o planejamento das tarefas utilizando-se métodos de visualização, como rede de precedências, diagrama PERT/CPM (gráfico de GANTT) e gráfico de alocação de recursos. Foram realizados o replanejamento e a reprogramação das tarefas com as técnicas do método PERT/CPM na avaliação de prazos, mão-de-obra (homens/hora) e tarefas do projeto de instalação de uma suinocultura.
