Many resistance alleles from different genes have been identified promoting resistance to this race. However, the variability detected within the race has made it difficult to obtain cultivars with durable resistance, given that these cultivars may present different reactions to each strain of the race 65. Therefore, this work aimed at studying the genetic control of common bean’s lines for resistance to different strains of the race 65 of C. lindemuthianum. For this purpose, we used six different strains, previously characterized as belonging to the race 65 through the international set of differential cultivars of anthracnose, and nine commercial cultivars, adapted to Brazilian cultivating conditions and that present the potential capacity to discriminate the variability within this race. For obtaining information regarding the genetic control of resistance related to nine commercial cultivars to the six strains of the race 65, these cultivars were crossed two by two in all possible combinations, resulting in 36 hybrids. The segregations observed in the F2 generations from all crossings revealed the presence of 12 genes, being that duplicated genes, in which the dominant allele promotes resistance, conditioned the resistance of each strain. These results indicate that the specificity between resistance genes of the host and pathogen virulence genes is not limited to races, it is also found within strains of the same race. Therefore, further research may be conducted in order to verify if the genes identified in these cultivars are different from those described in literature.A raça 65 do fungo Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, agente etiológico da antracnose do feijoeiro, é uma raça amplamente distribuída no país, possuindo grande importância para os programas de melhoramento do feijoeiro que visam resistência à antracnose. Vários alelos de resistência de diferentes genes já foram identificados conferindo resistência à esta raça. No entanto, a variabilidade que tem sido detectada dentro de raça, tem dificultado a obtenção de cultivares com resistência durável, pois estas cultivares podem apresentar reações diferentes para cada isolado da raça 65. Dessa forma, este trabalho teve como objetivo, estudar o controle genético da resistência de linhagens de feijoeiro à diferentes isolados da raça 65 de C. lindemuthianum. Para isso, foram utilizados seis isolados diferentes, previamente caracterizados como pertencentes à raça 65 por meio do conjunto internacional de cultivares diferenciadoras da antracnose do feijoeiro e nove cultivares comerciais, adaptadas às condições brasileiras de cultivo e que apresentam capacidade potencial para discriminar a variabilidade dentro desta raça. Para a obtenção de informações referentes ao controle genético da resistência das nove cultivares comerciais aos seis isolados da raça 65, estas foram cruzadas duas a duas em todas as combinações possíveis, obtendo-se 36 híbridos. As segregações observadas nas gerações F2 de todos os cruzamentos revelaram a presença de 12 genes, sendo que, a resistência à cada isolado é condicionada por genes duplicados em que o alelo dominante confere resistência. Esses resultados indicam que a especificidade entre genes de resistência do hospedeiro e genes de avirulência do patógeno, vai além de raças, ela também se encontra, dentro de isolados de uma mesma raça.
