Resumo: Nurses’ work is always fundamental and is inserted in all aspects of people’s health and has become more striking in the current moment to which they were exposed amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, the professional was subjected to greater risks and possible impacts on their Quality of Life at Work, especially those who worked in COVID-19 Intensive Care Units. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the Quality of life at Work of Nurses in COVID-19 Intensive Care Units. This is a cross-sectional study, carried out in two state hospitals, with a sample of 83 nurses working in COVID-19 Intensive Care Units. For this, 2 (two) self-administered questionnaires were used, the first with socioeconomic and ocupacional data; and the second the TQWL42. For statistical analysis, Cronbach’s coeficiente, Spearman’s test, multivariete analisys of variance, Tukey’s test were used and, to identify a relatioship of independente variables with a self-assesment of quality of life, it was used in the testo f Chi-square. The results found were mostly women (90,4%), aged between 30 and 39 years (47%), predominantly brown (51,8%) and single. Among the interviewees, 60,2% had children of catholic religion (47,6%), lived with a wife or partner (53%) and in their own property (67,1%). Among the spheres of Quality of life at Work, the most prominent was the Psychological and Behavioral sphere, whit emphasis on the significance of the task whit the best average (4,57), on the order hand, on the Economic and Political sphere had all aspects whit averages below 50%.Regarding the self-assessment of Quality of Life at Work, this was satisfactory, with na average above 50%. From these data, it was possible to identify that there was a satisfactory perception of the Quality of Life at Work of Nurses in COVID-19 Intensive Care Units, however, some, had a decreased association with QWL, as na group and as living conditions, with this it can be inferred that these factors are closely related to the living conditions of these professionals. It is concluded showing that nurses consider their work significant, the self-assesment of Quality of Life at Work was satisfactorily perceived, despite some spheres showing unfavorable rates, such as the Economic and Political.

Submitted by Maria Aparecida (cidazen@gmail.com) on 2022-08-05T17:59:29Z No. of bitstreams: 1 NIVYA.pdf: 18974466 bytes, checksum: ac956a0538c5686df427ea9b07cadfd1 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2022-08-05T17:59:29Z (GMT).
