One of the main difficulties that we find in Physics teaching in High School is how to teach students to be stimulated to learn and develop their learning autonomously. In this perspective, we decided to verify evidence of significant learning in a methodological approach to the teaching of Harmonic Oscillator, thus associating the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Physics contents. The methodological procedure adopted in this research consists of the construction of an Investigative Teaching Sequence (SEI) together with a modeling to simulate the movement of the simple pendulum and the mass-spring system through the Modellus educational software. For the theoretical foundation regarding the research process of student learning, it was based on the theory of significant learning of David Ausubel (2003), Carvalho (2013), Moreira (2011), Vigotsky (1984) and other researchers of the current constructivist The application of the SEI occurred in different circumstances, which are: after a traditional classroom and after the use of educational software. The construction and application of the SEI was carried out in class 203 of the second high school series of the José de Anchieta school, located in the city of Pinheiro, municipality of Maranhão. The survey data show that the proposed methodology provides greater interaction among students and also a significant improvement in their predispositions to learn. In this way, this research that practice was potentially significant for these students, because they provided them the contact with theories and practices in educational technologies for the active learning of concepts related to harmonic oscillators.
