Objective: To analyze sedentary behavior, mobility, sarcopenia, anthropometry and quality of life in patients with head and neck cancer. Methods: This is a cross- sectional, observational study carried out with patients undergoing oncological treatment in hospitals in northeastern Brazil. Results: 40 patients with head and neck cancer were evaluated, predominantly men (52.5%), elderly (60.0%), mixed race (57.5%), with higher education (82.5%), married (52.5%), 47.5% were overweight and 72.5% at moderate to high cardiovascular risk, 82.5% insufficiently active, 20.0% had reduced dynamometry, 32.5% risk for sarcopenia, 20.0% demonstrated altered performance on the Sitting and Standing scale, 100.0% had adequate walking speed and 66.7% demonstrated a distance covered below normal. The Global Quality of Life was significantly lower in women (p=0.004), young people (p=0.003), insufficiently active individuals (p= 0.048) and with a low level of strength in dynamometry (p= 0.020. There were no significant differences between sociodemography , anthropometry and cardiovascular risks and Sedentary Behavior. Likewise, there was no significant difference in the sociodemographic, anthropometric and cardiovascular risk variables in relation to Functional and Quality of Life. Symptoms, with the exception of marital status, where divorced or widowed people were more affected on the Symptoms scale (p=0.029). Conclusion: Quality of life was lower in women, young people and insufficiently active patients, with muscular strength being indicators of worse functional scores. Although, sedentary behavior did not show differences between the variables.
