This research with qualitative approach, using as method the use-inspired basic research proposed by Pasteurs, seeks to describe the process of creating the application Artlink Visual, aimed at improving learning in visual arts classes using mobile devices at school. With this work, we propose to improve the inclusion of technological inputs/resources for visual arts teachers in their teaching practices, offering a resource adapted to Ana Mae Barbosa's triangular proposal, considering the lack of app available in the market, taking into consideration the curricular challenges imposed on art teaching after the period of social isolation imposed by the Coronavirus Pandemic. We proposed in this work to describe how the creation of the app Artlink Visual happened, from its initial planning process, to the programming, and to the availability of the prototype with the presentation of the main interfaces. The research had as its bibliographic base the congruence of studies under several fronts such as the importance of TDIC and its concepts for mobile learning with authors such as: Martins (2019); Zajak (2020); Bacich and Moran (2017) Malaggi (2019); Siemens (2004) and UNESCO (2014); in the field of art/education with Barbosa (2000); of visual arts with authors such as Gombrich (2015), Belting (2006), Stangos (1991), Farthing (2011); Argan (1992); Panofsky (2009) and Cauquelim (2005) and in active learning methodologies with Bacich and Moran (2017); Bottentuit Junior (2021 and 2022) Costa, Castro and Schiettino (2019). The research resulted in a preliminary app ready to start testing with the target audience in early March and having a strong potential to enhance and improve teaching/learning in visual arts within the school.
