Resumo: The aim of this research was to analyze the language as a symptom at the very birth of the psychoanalysis. The discoursive heterogeneity in Anna O.'s case was demonstrated in the " corpus, which includes Breuer's observation, Freud's and Lacan's psychoanalysis and Bertha Pappenheim's writings (Anna O. herself). The texts were analysed by the discourse analysis methodology and some psychoanalyticconcepts especially from the new framework of discourse analysis, Patrick Charaudeau's sémiolinguistique, where the language act is conceived as a staging and the discourse is the text and its context, we concluded that at the birth of Psychoanalysis, a foreign language was a part of the scene. This fact inaugurated, with the "talking-cure", a new concept of healing. The presence of Anna O. is referred in Freud's works and Lacan's studies. This dissertation carried out a survey into language,life and Bertha Pappenheims discoursive heterogeneity, by interplay of language, linguistics, discourse analysis, and psychoanalysis.

A heterogeneidade discursiva do caso Anna O. foi demonstrada pela análise do corpus, que abrange as observações de Breuer, a psicanálise de Freud e Lacan, e os escritos de Bertha Pappenheim, a própria Anna O.. Os textos foram analisados segundo pressupostos da Análise do Discurso e alguns conceitos dapsicanálise e da linguística, especialmente a partir da nova corrente da Análise do Discurso, a semiolinguística de Patrick Charaudeau, na qual o ato de linguagem é concebido como encenação e o discurso é o texto e seu contexto. A análise discursiva mostra tanto o discurso sobre Anna O., como o que ela diz sobre si mesma, mostrando que o sujeito Bertha Pappenheim é dividido, o que a diversidade linguística pode demonstrar ou sinalizar. A talking cure inaugura este novo conceito de cura. Nonascimento da psicanálise uma lingua estrangeira fez parte da cena. A presença de Anna O. é referida na obra de Freud e nos estudos de Lacan.
