Resumo: This essay analyses the fundamentation of morals in Jürgen Habermas Discourse Ethics. It states that Habermas Discourse Ethics fulfill the Iluminism project for rational morals, presenting the problem of fundamentation in terms of language philosophy, after the linguistic turn. In order to evolve the analysis of morals fundamentation in Jürgen Habermas, at a first part it researches the problems of discourse ethics in Hegels objections to Kantian moral philosophy, in Max Weber's challenge, in the devaluation of a methaphysic-religious basis, and in the inusfficiency of philosophy of conscience to the fundamentation of morals. At a second part it points out the theoretic mark, which Habermas states the fundamentals of a postmethaphysic world from. At a third and last part it properly researches Habermas fundamentals of moral, discussing the pragmatic concept of fundamentation, the formal fundamentation of the principle of universalization (U) and the contribution of the genealogical conception to the cognitiveness of morals.

Defende que a ética do discurso de J. Habermas dá conta do projeto iluminista de uma moral racional ao situar o problema da fundamentação nos termos da filosofia da linguagem após a virada lingüística pragmática. Para desenvolver a análise da fundamentação da moral em J. Habermas, num primeiro momento, investiga o problema de partida da ética do discurso que é composto pelas objeções de Hegel à filosofia moral de Kant, pelo desafio de Max Weber, pela desvalorização da base religiosa-metafísica, e pela insuficiência da filosofia da consciência para a fundamentação da moral. Num segundo momento, apresenta em linhas gerais o marco teórico a partir do qual J. Habermas consegue fundamentar a moral num mundo pós-metafísico. Num terceiro e último momento, explica propriamente a fundamentação da moral em J.
