Resumo: | This dissertation presents an analysis on fantastic creatures of imaginary characters shown in publications, games and videos broadcast by media and directed to the adolescent public. To enter the fantastic universe, or to design these creatures in their processes and paths of upbringing, becomes an object of curiosity and appropriation for adolescents, promoting part of their creative processes and means of expression. After approval by the UFMG Research Ethics Committee, responses to the questionnaires and interviews were analyzed in accordance with the content analysis methodology developed by Bardin (2011). The students will present their experiences about the processes and the breeding paths in developing fantastic creatures. A theoretical analysis is based on the experiences of child-rearing of students who develop fantastic characters, according to Dewey (2010) and on the practice of design as a process and path of child-rearing, constituting a way of thinking about art as the construction of knowledge, presented by Pimentel (2016). Analyzes, also, the aesthetics of the breeding movement presented by Salles (2013), which can be observed in the development of two adolescent students from breeding in a permanent process, whose triggering occurs among the characters that we need to pay attention to and provoke sensations, actions and thoughts about to interfere I do not imagine two designers. In this sense, the stories from the interviews stand out, not that they refer to the favorite characters of the students, but that they always only appear in the media, but are the fruit of the thoughts and work of the imagination of two adolescents fostered by creative and expressive processes. |
