Resumo: The work seeks to present pedagogical complementation to mathematics classes. The tool in question is the use of educational robotics as a proposal to improve the development rates of the mathematics subject, taking into account the level of rejection and students’ difficulties. Furthermore, Seymour Papert’s constructivist approach is embedded in the context, supporting the importance of students’ active involvement in the construction of their own mathematical knowledge. Specifically, the study presents the assembly of a bionic hand in the classroom with the direct participation of students.

Além disso, a abordagem construtivista de Seymour Papert está inserida ao contexto, apoiando a importância do envolvimento ativo dos estudantes na construção do próprio conhecimento matemático.
