Elementos da geodiversidade no Parque Sesc Serra Azul (MT) : inventário e propostas para o geoturismo e a geoconservação

The present work aimed to analyze the geodiversity and collect information about the geotouristic potential in the Parque Sesc Serra Azul (PSSA), inserted in the municipality of Rosário Oeste, MT, which is a conservation unit (UC) of private domain, Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural (RPPN), characterized by having relevant attributes from the point of view of geodiversity. The adopted methodology followed the proposal suggested by Pereira et al. (2007), which guides the work of inventorying, evaluating and characterizing the elements of geodiversity. In order to carry out the inventory, on-site visits were carried out in order to survey the geoforms and verify the accessibility to places of interest. A navigation GPS (Garmim model 60CSX) was used in order to map the access routes to places of geomorphological interest. The geomorphosites were identified and evaluated, whose characterization offers relevant information to future geotourism programs that may be developed in the park. In order to subsidize the proposals for geotourism, materials were prepared (texts, maps) used to make a folder and to serve as a reference for the design of interpretive panels in order to facilitate the interpretation of the local landscape to geotourists. The same materials were used to publish content on social media (Instagram), in a profile created to help publicize geotourism on PSSA. In this sense, it is considered that the PSSA can become a destination in great demand by tourists interested in a more complete experience that adds both the appreciation of biotic (ecotourism and adventure tourism) and abiotic (geotourism) elements. It is therefore understood that the adoption of these proposals can help in environmental protection through geoconservation, meeting the conservation policy already in progress by the management of Parque Sesc Serra Azul.
