Virtual technology showcases act as interactive interfaces between universities and society. Therefore, studies are needed to investigate how to effectively meet the needs of their target audience so that the tool can satisfactorily fulfill its objectives. The general objective of this study was to propose the interface of a virtual technology showcase for Ufopa, based on User Experience (UX Design) studies. Four specific objectives were established: (i) to identify and describe the characteristics and functionalities required in a virtual technology showcase, from the perspective of aspects based on UX Design; (ii) to present and use a methodology to identify and get to know the showcase users; (iii) to map the virtual technology showcases of the universities that are best ranked according to innovation indicators; and (iv) to create a wireframe that represents the most appropriate visual and interaction structure to meet the identified demands. To achieve these objectives, UX design methodologies were used, such as user analysis and interface design practices focused on innovation. The results demonstrated that, with the implementation of an efficient and intuitive interface, the showcase can enhance collaboration between Ufopa and the productive sector, expanding opportunities for technology transfer and facilitating the promotion of science and innovation generated in the academic environment. In this way, the showcase contributes to strengthening the role of the university as an agent of regional and social development, and, at the same time, promotes greater visibility of the technologies generated by its researchers and that are available for transfer. In addition, it can function as a facilitating channel for interaction between different actors, modernizing the communication process and supporting various research demands.
