The respective research has the scope of analyzing pedagogical practices adopted by the Municipal Elementary School Salvino João Pereira, located in Juripiranga, in the state of Paraíba, which alludes to the fight against prejudice against gender and sexuality. These issues will be carried from the studies of Michel Foucault, Stuart Hall and Zygmunt Bauman, by increasing the focus beyond similar consolidated events, being able to tell stories from other perspectives, stories that have long been narrated, but end up silenced by single stories, universal and irreversible. Prioritizing pedagogical procedures aimed at prejudice practices conveyed in that educational institution. Due to this concern, we found that there is tacit silence and/or prejudiced attitudes in that environment among the professionals of the respective school, without taking into account the damage caused to the learning and lives of children, young people and adolescents. The method chosen for this purpose was qualitative ethnography under the observation approach, as it is characterized by detailed descriptions of actions, events, people, interactions and behaviors observable in the school environment. It also incorporating what the participants say, their experiences, attitudes, beliefs, thoughts and reflections, as they lived and express it, raising, therefore, a series of ethical issues from the interaction of the researcher with the researched subjects. To this end, we will priority to diverse sources with emphasis on the analysis of official documents, the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988, the Law of Guidelines and Education Basis (LDB), National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs), the Common National Curriculum Basis (BNCC), the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP), the Internal Regulations of the School – (RIE) and the Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA), which will be used to observe if there are gaps between what is prescribed and what actually occurs in that environment of multiple coexistence and learning.
