O tratamento do grau dos substantivos e adjetivos em livros didáticos do ensino fundamental

Resumo: This work aims to investigate the management of the degree of nouns and adjectives in two textbooks of portuguese language, namely: Português: leitura, produção, gramática , which is used in four municipal public schools of the city of Coremas-PB, and Português: linguagens , which is used in those public mentioned already and in a private school of the city previously mentioned. Both textbooks are from the 6th grade of elementary school. From the content related to the degree of nouns and adjectives in these textbooks, we intended to elucidate which theoretical and methodological models they present when they deal with the teaching of degree in the Portuguese language. The choice of taking these textbooks as the source of this research lies on the fact that, besides of being adopted in our hometown, they have the seal of approval of the Brazilian National Plan of Textbooks (PNLD) which is issued by the Ministry of Education and by the National Fund for Education Development (FNDE). This research is organized in four parts, such as: introduction, theoretical framework, data presentation and analyzes and final remarks. This research takes into account the functionalist perspective to the language teaching and it is based on the works of Neves (2002), Travaglia (2002, 2004), Possenti (2002), Gonçalves (2005, 2009), Perini (1996, 2005), Christiano (2007), Tavares e Furtado da Cunha (2007), Silva (2008a, 2008b e 2012), Bechara (2009), and some others.

A partir do conteúdo referente ao grau dos substantivos e dos adjetivos presentes nestes LD, procuramos explicitar que modelos teórico-metodológicos eles apresentam quando tratam do ensino do grau na língua portuguesa. O que justifica nossa decisão em selecionar os referidos livros como fonte de pesquisa, além do fato de serem adotados em nossa cidade, é que eles possuem o selo de aprovação do Plano Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD) expedido pelo Ministério da Educação e pelo Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE). A organização desta dissertação é composta por quatro partes: introdução, panorama teórico, exposição e análise dos dados e considerações finais.
