Resumo: This text aims to study the narratives of subjects who sought spiritual treatment at the Casa Espírita Nosso Lar (CENL), as part of their therapeutic itineraries to enable socioanthropological reflections on spirituality and health. When conducting this research, observation and application of virtual interviews with patients from the Spiritist House Our Home, located in the city of João Pessoa - Paraíba, were used as a methodological resource. In order to make it possible to understand the rhetoric that involves the experience of falling ill and recovering the health of the subjects who undergo spiritual treatment at CENL, this study also uses as a reference the study of works of the Spiritist literature and the monitoring of Spiritist lectures available online. Through this research it is possible to think about the experience of the disease and therapeutic practices of subjects who have sought spiritualism as a healing system. In order to complete the treatment of these patients who conceive the need for treatment (s) that reestablishes health, considering a tripartite concept of person as interrelated body, mind and spirit.

Ao realizar esta pesquisa foi utilizado como recurso metodológico a observação e a aplicação de entrevistas virtuais com pacientes da Casa Espírita Nosso Lar, localizada na cidade de João Pessoa – Paraíba. Para tornar possível a compreensão da retórica que envolve a experiência do adoecimento e recuperação da saúde dos sujeitos que realizam o tratamento espiritual na CENL, este estudo também utiliza como referencial o estudo de obras da literatura espírita e o acompanhamento de palestras espíritas disponíveis online. Através desta pesquisa é possível pensar sobre a experiência da doença e práticas terapêuticas de sujeitos que tem buscado o espiritismo como um sistema de cura.
