Resumo: The need for the creation of virtual learning environments - VLEs with specific applications has become increasingly pertinent. In this way, the development of AVAMUSIC was required, a web application specifically developed for the context of teaching musical instruments. Avamusic has the potential to become a suite (set) of applications aimed at the musical education area. The first application added to the suite is the Digital Manossolfa, an artificial intelligence app. The Manossolfa is a tool of the Kodály method used to teach musical notes with signals. The general objective of the research was to understand the possibilities and limits of a web application aimed at teaching musical instruments from the perspective of teachers. From an exploratory survey, we identified that there was a gap concerning specific VLEs for teaching musical instruments. Concerning the methodology, qualitative research of multiple cases or multi cases was carried out. 2 cases: Case 1 - was the development and validation of AVAMUSIC Alpha version in an extension course, the hybrid guitar initiation course, held at the Federal University of Paraíba-UFPB and Case 2 - was the development and test of AVAMUSIC beta and Digital Manossolfa version by a specialist teacher. The evaluation of Case 1 was performed through a field diary, documentary analysis of the interactions helf in the VLE during the course as well as semi-structured interviews with the teachers of the course. The assessment of Case 2 took place through the test of the system components (buttons, links, etc.) and a questionnaire with the teacher. For both cases, a web application was developed, a virtual learning environment - VLE, which was a mediator of these actions. We can affirm that the objective was achieved to the extent that Avamusic Alpha was an important resource for the realization of Case 1. The AVAMUSIC Beta (Case 2) was used by a music expert professor. The analysis showed that the difficulties in using AVAMUSIC Beta, as problems with the issue of access, that is, to log in, have been resolved by creating a help page. About the possible scenarios of use of AVAMUSIC Beta, we find that it can be used for teaching musical instruments in presential or courses, Semi-presential, totally online, music teaching for the hearing disabled, among others. The results showed that the same technology used in the development of Digital Manossolfa will provide the development of other tools that can be used as support to the teacher concerning the feedback of student body posture (hands posture on the instrument, etc.). The results from the perspective of teachers show that Avamusic can function as a promising tool for teaching musical instrument in various modalities, among them, distance musical education, mainly because it is an environment that organizes and enables the creation of more resources, as well as Digital Manossolfa, which enable online musical practice.
