This work is a technical design applied to the implementation of the Continuing Education Center (NEP) at the University Hospital Ana Bezerra (Huab) as organizational management tool. Anchored on the concept of lifelong learning (Ceccim; FERLA, 2004) understood as public health policy and adopted as a guideline to work the need for development of the nursing team, continuously improving the care provided by the service and thereby contributing to the management organizational. The implementation of the NEP not only provides for the promotion of capacity building and training of nursing professionals, but will provide the construction of knowledge of horizontal, intersectoral and interdisciplinary way, prioritizing the teaching-learning relationship, moved by the critical debate and the discussions highlighted the need the hospital everyday. Thus, we have as a general objective the construction of a technical project plan for the implementation of the NEP at the University Hospital Ana Bezerra (Huab). The outlined specific goals include the diagnosis of educational practices in Huab, the elaboration of an action plan for the implementation of the NEP and the identification of factors involved in the education process of the nursing team. The methodology used was the type action research with the hospital in focus, in which participants were involved (as) nurses (as) the Huab. To realize it, we use instruments based on active teaching methods that work meaningful learning and questioning. As a final product of this work, we have a technical project plan implemented with the proposal of institutionalized implementation of the Continuing Education Center at the University Hospital Ana Bezerra. It is expected, therefore, contribute to improving the quality of nursing care that the implementation of the NEP can provide, noting that its implementation, and to promote continuing education for the nursing staff, will promote a space planning, monitoring and evaluation of educational proposals, according to the organizational demands.
